Residensi Millenia is the culmination of a highly-synergistic collaboration between property entrepreneurs from both Malaysia and Singapore. Our founders are involved in numerous niche developments in both Malaysia and Singapore. In Malaysia we have a presence in both the Klang Valley and Johor. We bring our extensive experience in delivering unique boutique projects to Residensi Millenia.

Cheong Hock Peng

Managing Director & Co-Founder

A highly-experienced and respected entrepreneur with interests in real estate, real estate projects as well as brick manufacturing. Mr Cheong has led and completed a total of nine residential development projects in Singapore from 2005 –2012, raking in sales of more than S$150m. His company was awarded the prestigious “Singapore SME 500” award in 2010 and 2011. He started working in his family business in the tin and granite mining business in the 1980s. At the age of 33 in 1994, he was leading the mining business as a company director. In 2004, the visionary Mr Cheong took opportunity of the sluggish property prices in Singapore and purchased some lands for development.

Walter Chew

Executive Director & Co-Founder

A rising property development entrepreneur with investments in real estate projects in both the Klang Valley and Johor, Walter is the third generation in a line of property and construction entrepreneurs. Walter is fully hands-on in leading every aspect of the development from acquisition to conceptualisation to authority relations and execution. Walter attended the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia under scholarship from the Australian Federal Government and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce. He commenced his career in Corporate Finance and Corporate Recovery at PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia and has also served in senior management, as Group Head Corporate Finance, in a large construction group listed on Bursa Malaysia.

Ricky Tan

Project Director

Mr Tan is a deeply experienced project director with numerous successful luxury projects in Singapore under his belt. He is currently project director for GCI Development Sdn Bhd, having been Executive Director of the GCI Development group of Singapore. Under GCI group, his projects include condominium developments, “Casa Meya” and “Costa Este” as well as luxury villa/townhouse developments, “Residences at Limau” and “D’Kenaris”, in Singapore.
